We, Hardmeier Electronics AG, Weststrasse 115, CH-8408 Winterthur, are the operator of the website www.visomat.ch and the services offered there and are therefore responsible for the collection, processing and use of your personal data and for compliance of data processing with Swiss law.

Your trust is important to us, which is why we take data protection very seriously and ensure appropriate security. Naturally, we comply with the legal provisions of the Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP), the Ordinance to the Federal Act on Data Protection (OFADP), the Telecommunications Act and other data protection regulations. We use the data you provide to fulfil and process your order. When you sign up for the newsletter, your email address is used for our own advertising purposes until you unsubscribe from the newsletter. Unsubscribing is possible at any time.

a. when visiting www.visomat.ch

When you visit our website, our servers temporarily store every access in a log file. The following data is collected automatically without any action on your part and stored by us until automated deletion after no later than twelve months:

• the IP address of the requesting computer,
• the date and time of access,
• the name and URL of the file accessed,
• the website from which access was made,
• your computer's operating system and the browser you use,
• the country from which access was made,
• the name of your internet access provider.

The collection and processing of this data is carried out for the purpose of enabling the use of our website (connection setup), permanently ensuring system security and stability, optimising our internet offering and for internal statistical purposes. The IP address is evaluated only in the event of attacks on the network infrastructure of www.visomat.ch and for statistical purposes.

b. when registering a customer account

Entering personal data to create your customer account on our website is voluntary. For certain personal data, truthful entry is mandatory. This concerns

• your email address, which also serves as your username,
• address (full postal address, postcode, city, country),
• salutation,
• first name,
• last name,
• password.

We need this data to process and administer our website, to check the plausibility of the data entered, i.e. to establish, structure, process and amend the contractual relationships concluded with you via your user account.

c. when using the portal as a registered customer

While registered customers use the portal, we collect data for statistical reasons and to ensure the smooth functioning of the portal. In particular, the following data is collected:

• the shopping cart, minimum and maximum in CHF and the number of packs.

d. when making a purchase

If you wish to purchase a product on our site, we require various data to process the purchase contract. You must provide the following data:

• payment details,
• login data (chosen by the customer).

Providing data beyond this is voluntary.

If you are registered and have a customer account, we store your data in the customer account for your next purchase.

a. Newsletter / email advertising / online advertising

By registering at www.visomat.ch you may have consented to us processing your personal data for marketing measures, such as sending emails with general information or promotional content (newsletter), or delivering customer-specific advertising.

When signing up for the newsletter, your email address is used together with your consent for our own advertising purposes until you unsubscribe from the newsletter. Users who no longer wish to receive our newsletter or promotional emails can unsubscribe using the simple unsubscribe mechanism included in all emails sent by visomat.ch. We only disclose your personal data if you have expressly consented, there is a legal obligation to do so, or it is necessary to enforce our rights, in particular claims arising from the contractual relationship. In addition, we pass your data on to third parties insofar as this is necessary for contract processing. 4. Carrying out credit checks

5. Right to information, deletion and correction

You may request information at any time about the personal data we have stored about you, or view and change it by logging in to our website with your login data. A formal request for information must be made in writing and accompanied by proof of identity.
